Born and raised in India, Stanley comes from a family line of natural artists, he has successfully completed the Elementary and Intermediate art exams, the rest has been effort of hard work and persistent practice.

He has travelled extensively and lived and worked in seven countries, but never lost his passion for art and painting.

He specializes in scenes and themes form rural India, most of his painting have a common theme of “Home Coming” or the Return amalgamated with a bit of action and life making it more exciting and lasting for all those art lovers. Stanley has been awarded as the best artist in Indian community Australia wide. (2009)

He has taught in India, Middle East at the Bahrain Art Centre as a senior artist. He has held several sole exhibitions in Australia.

Stanley Abnes has been painting for over 40 years and is very versatile in all mediums such as Oils, Water colours, Acrylics, Inks and Charcoal.

His engineering background has complimented and enabled him to become a highly skilled model maker, he has worked independently on some of the prestigious and Iconic models like Guest, Keen, Williams Ltd. Bombay, India 1971, The Bahrain Skating Rink -1982-1983. He has also had the opportunity of working with Keith Day Models Inc. Toronto – Canada in constructing the replica of the famous Dome Stadium 1985-1986.

Mr. Abnes is also a highly skilled Styrofoam Designer known for creating backdrops for events and corporate meetings, social gatherings and Church Projects. He has served as an Art Director for the Bramalea Baptist Church, Brampton, Ontario – Canada for three years in presenting the annual event of “Come to Bethlehem”.

Stanley has hosted several Exhibitions in Australia, including Town Hall, Fairfield RSL,

The Cube ( Rydges Hotel ) Campbelltown Catholic Club, Revesby Council, Camden Council and  many other local events hosted by The OZ Funland .
